Our Hope for a better day
Things are not pretty right now. Many thousands of families are being forced out of their homes. We could do a lot of finger pointing and bad mouthing at those we think are most responsible. The sad fact is it would do little to change the current state of affairs for so many Americans who are being dispossessed from their homes
It looks currently as if there is little any single government can do to change the world economic situation at present. Steps are being taken by governments all over the world to lessen the damage being done by this economic upheaval.
We thought about publishing a series of article that would be pointed at helping those who have lost their homes make a smooth transition to some new accommodations. However we were not able to muster courage enough to attempt to beguile those who have lost a home, by trying to sooth things with encouraging words
We too, ourselves and our families have suffered during this current crisis, but none of our close associates have suffered the loss of a home. So to try to tell others how that feels, how to get past that and move onto other things in our opinion would be dishonest.
Personally, I find it hard to imagine what it might be like to lose our home. So I asked myself, what is there that I can do to help those most in need, those looking for answers to tough questions that affect many a families future. I could think of only one thing. And that was to offer up in prayer all those who have been so sorely affected by these hard times.
I know it’s not the politically correct thing to do, openly talk about Prayer and God on a website. But I know that God does exist and that prayers made in earnest are heard. So I pray that God will make use of this time to affect blessings on those who have to move out of their homes. I pray that their hearts and minds will be receptive to his direction and that God will show those in need, the blessings that are not presently apparent to them. I pray that He will lift our nation and our world out of the hole we have driven it into. I pray that God will bless us all with sound judgment and guide world leaders in making the right choices to help bring about quick resolution to the current crisis.
